Mountain View BBQ & Deli in Columbus

Great family owned BBQ/Deli. Super friendly, pulled pork and BBQ sauce was great. Potatoe salad was amazing. Brisket could have been a little fresher, seems like it sat for a long time after slicing amd continued to cook. Was a little tough and over done.

We had some great BBQ and excellent service at Mountain View. The brisket was really good - tender and not dried out and the chicken and pork were also good. The sides were okay with the fries and hush puppies being pretty good. What really surprised me was the great service. The Counter Clerk brought out our food, then checked back frequently as to whether everything was OK and refilling our drinks. All in all a great meal. I expect we'll stop back on our next trip up I-26.

The food and staff were fantastic!The barbecue was great. We had a sample appetizer platter and an entree sampler, as the menu was extensive offering very diverse choices. We split both to get an idea how the food was.Well it was amazing!Everything from the pulled pork to the ribs the and the wings. The hush puppies were awesome too.All at an affordable price.I highly recommend the place.We will be going back.

Really good BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich. I always get the same thing and it's always really good. This time I did not give five stars only because the chips were a little bit cold. Very good but not piping-hot. Still, I'm sure if I would have said something they would have given me fresh ones so it's really not that big of a deal.

Essential Worker from out of town, always hard to find good food. Pulled Pork and the Brisket Sandwich was on point but the Potato Salad “wow” I could have just at a plate of that stuff and would have been good.

Takes FOREVER! They need to hire someone just to take to go orders at least on the weekend. When they did answer the phone, they hung up on me. When I called back, they had taken it off the hook. There is constantly a "now hiring" sign out. I wonder why? Prices are high too for what you get.

Amazing smoked wings! Tried the lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan. My son had the grilled cheese, the cheesiest sandwich I’ve ever seen! Would eat there again if in the area. Plus they accept Apple Pay!

Hubby was craving for wings so we decided to give Mountain View a try after seeing the pictures and reading the review. Came here at 12 noon on a Tuesday - bad idea, the line is long and the wait for food is long too. We didn’t get our food until 25 min after we ordered. I feel bad for the girl at the cashier, she runs the one woman show in the front, from taking order to serving food, and she’s pregnant.Hubby got the “plum good” wings which are really good, I had the 1/2 & 1/2 sandwich, for $7.99 they gave you a lot of meat and chips! I didn’t eat the bun cause the meat along filled me up.There are a lot of varieties on the menu, maybe I’ll find a less traffic time to try their fried green tomato and Rueben!

This place is hit or miss. One day the food is outstanding the next not so good!!!

FANTASTIC BBQ!!! Adorable, small restaurant in a quiet & clean environment. They have all their sauces on the tables and everyone of them are DELICIOUS! Highly recommend the burnt ends pulled pork. So, so good. As well as their potato salad, fried okra, fried pickles..well, I could go on and on. Can't wait to go back. Prices are a little on the higher side but not horrible. Horrible customer service. Cancelled my order Never notified me. Never apologized. Was offered no compensation for time/work lost to get food wont be backYour employee admitted to deleting the order.i called 3 times before i was even offered a discount. I never once cussed at the "child" on the phone. But you keep telling lies all you want.

Probably my favorite restaurant in NC. Everytime I come through here I stop and get the chicken bacon ranch wrap with homemade chips. Then to top it off the best potato salad known to mankind. Would reccomend.

First time there. Had the wings. They were phenomenal. Sauces were fantastic and do not forget the house made chips. Will go back again when I am back in town.

Barbecue pork, barbecue chicken, chicken wings, brisket and ribs all in one place. Easy parking and they Cater. I got the Barbecue pork with a salad and coleslaw plus ice tea and it was only $10.49.

My husband had the smoked turkey on sourdough - outstanding! I had the pulled pork salad - outstanding! Highly recommend.

Some of the best BBQ that you can get anywhere. It is where all of the locals go. Portions are really big, so prepare your appetite accordingly.

We stopped in after a local appointment and were excited to try the wings based on some of the Google reviews. We don’t always get wings out because they are usually so-so, small and not up to our liking. Wow! We’re we pleased by the wings we ordered. Between my wife and I we had two orders with 3 different mouth-watering sauces. The Smoked Wings were just amazing! The sauces were bold but not overbearing and complimented the underlying smoked flavor. We also tried the homemade chips, Fried okra, and Fried Green Tomatoes. All delicious! We can’t wait to go back to try other menu items and have already agreed that we need to bring family and visiting friends here. Greatly impressed!

Best wings this side of the Mississippi! Disclaimer, or I should say the best wings I have ever eaten.
